North East Research Delphi – pitch your ideas!

A pan-speciality collaborative has been announced between the three main trainee research collaboratives in the North East; NoSTRA (General Surgery), CORNET (Trauma and Orthopaedics) and INCARNNET (ICM and Anaesthetics). The aim of this is to develop and deliver research projects across the North East which are relevant to these three main specialities.

The first project is the ‘North East Research Delphi’. The first phase of this project is ‘idea generation’.We are keen to hear your thoughts on which research questions you think are important and need to be developed into appropriate clinical studies. We are interested in research questions which are applicable to all three specialties and to individual specialities involved.

The second phase of this project with be a modified-Delphi exercise, whereby, we will collate all the research ideas and hold 3 rounds of voting to identify the top 10 research questions. These identified questions will then be developed into research studies to be carried out collaboratively in the North East.
